"Message of Hope" Video

Since coming into Teen Challenge, my life has completely changed. I owe all my thanks to the power of God. I came into Teen Challenge hopeless, cut off from my family and unaware of a savior. I had no respect for anyone but now through God I can love and respect others and myself. I now have a future that will be fruitful in Christ. I also have established a great relationship with my family. I am hopeful the changes in my life will inspire my whole family to change. I am so blessed for the amazing and powerful opportunity to change my life and live for God. I am so excited to go out and start living for Him. I HAVE BEEN REDEEMED!

I lived my life the only way I knew how: deny my problems and pretend to be happy. I came to Teen Challenge and hated it. My problems resurfaced and I soon faced everything I was hiding from. After about nine months I was tired of pretending and decided to get real with God. Since that day I can not help but love God with everything in me. I realize how much I am worth and nothing can take that away from me. I thank God for his presence and Teen Challenge. Since coming into Teen Challenge, my life has completely changed. I came to Teen Challenge not knowing there was a God. I thought no one could ever understand and bring me out of the endless suffering I was in. God then showed me His amazing grace and opened up my heart to let others in to help. I now know it is not all about me but helping others, showing love, forgiveness and accepting other for who they are. This is the act that Jesus extended to me. I thank God for using Teen Challenge to change my life and my family. There is no better that I could have found the love of my Father in Heaven.

I came into Teen Challenge broken hearted and helpless. I never understood the meaning of a true relationship with Christ. Now I have a future and hope. God is so amazing and he has poured out His unending love over me. Being at Teen Challenge has showed me that people can love me and care about me. He has opened up my eyes to the grace and mercy he gives me. I thank Him for saving my life through Teen Challenge. Now that I am set free and He has broken my chains, I can run into His arms, accept His embrace and love with Him forever.

I cam to Teen Challenge knowing it was Christian based and I hated that fact. I have done so many different things and I thought “How is God going to love me? How could anyone want to be around me?” I didn’t understand but when I walked through the doors of Teen Challenge I had never felt so much love. Now I am saved!! Teen Challenge and God have both saved my life and I thank God for everything He continues to do in my life. Without Teen Challenge I do not know where I would be.

Before I knew God, I was hollow. The only reason I had friends was so I could use them. The only reason I was around my family was so they would pay my way to college. I prided myself on being intelligent and deceptive. I was addicted to money, sex and homosexuality. I forgot how to tell the truth. When God came into my heart at Teen Challenge he softened my heart and gave me emotion. I have learned how to love. He has restored my relationship with my family. I am a new creation because of His grace through Teen Challenge.

I came into Teen Challenge not believing in God. Now Jesus Christ is my best friend. He has restored my hope and future. My relationship with my family has been transformed through His mercy. It is amazing I see the world in a completely different point of view. I know I am no longer addicted to the world but now am addicted to God. Thank God for Teen Challenge.

Coming to Teen Challenge has softened my heart and gave me a firm standing in Christ. Before I came to know Jesus Christ I had hardened my heart to the world and cut off relationships with those who loved me most. I only lived for every moment I could get high. I cared nothing about others, myself or my future. I knew I would not ever survive the world I was living in and knew I had to change. Teen Challenge introduced to me true love, forgiveness and hope Jesus Christ had to offer. I have my life back and I am so grateful. -

I was numb, dirty and selfish before coming to Teen Challenge. I was constantly running from every problem I faced and I was fazed by nothing. Thankfully, God snatched me out of that dead-end life and brought me to Teen Challenge. Through His mercy and love I was spared. I thank God for my life. I thank God for Teen Challenge and for opening my eyes. Now, I am saved and will have eternal life!!

Before Teen Challenge my life was completely empty of God’s love and mercy I found His love when I walked through the doors of Teen Challenge. Here I found that the life I am living has a purpose and it is to serve Him in all I do. Coming here has made me the girl that I have always wanted to be. God is restoring every relationship with my family members. God is amazing and I am thankful for Teen Challenge.

Teen Challenge has brought me to a place of understanding who God is. I grew up in and learned the laws I am supposed to keep to be a good person. Though years of church services, I never knew what God was about. God is love and that is what I discovered here at Teen Challenge. Finding God’s love allowed me to love myself and my family. I learned what is really important in life is my relationship with Jesus and loving those around me. Teen Challenge saved my life!

Before I came to Teen Challenge I was hopeless. After years of being hurt and used I lost myself. I became numb to life and pushed everyone that loved me away. I did not care about myself, my family or my future. I felt like no one would ever love me. But then I came to know Christ and now I see myself from a whole new perspective. Life has a new meaning and my family means the world to me. I am so thankful for God’s forgiving grace and for a new life that I have found here at Teen Challenge.
